A case brought by a man allegedly injured by a contaminated hernia mesh product manufactured by Atrium Medical Corp. may proceed on the plaintiff’s failure to warn claims. The Illinois federal judge, however, dismissed the plaintiff’s claim that the mesh product was defectively designed because it contained polypropylene, a type of plastic.
