A motion to transfer three cases from Michigan, Arizona and Texas against chemical and fire suppressant makers for injuries related to PFAS exposure was granted by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation. The cases involve defendants including 3M, Chemours and Tyco and will be consolidated in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. The JPML ruledthese cases share factual questions about the science behind PFAS exposure.
